When Maddie runs away from boarding school to join the rodeo show that’s passing through town, she doesn’t expect to accidentally impersonate the missing rodeo star. But now the mystery has her trapped. Tracking down clues and learning who to trust and who to avoid is hard enough, but she also has trick roping and riding to learn.
 
Discovering what happened to the actual rodeo star puts her in danger both on and off the horse. Maddie must prove herself, and the girl she’s impersonating, innocent of crime while also proving herself worthy of riding the toughest bronc.
